2. Which viewer do you use most often?
Firestorm. I find the SecondLife viewer not user friendly.
3. What is your FPS (Frames Per Second) when you have your graphics on ultra?
75 FPS on my sim, Lo Lo
35 FPS in the Linden city sims
I have no problem going to events with shadows On.
4. How often does Second Life crash for you? Is it usually just a viewer crash or your whole system crashes? What are you usually doing at the moment of the crash?
Rarely do I crash. If I do it is the viewer while logging in.
5. Do you know of any tips or tricks in the settings that would improve performance?
For most people I would recommend having draw distance turned down. Also, unless taking pictures you don’t need your graphics on High or Ultra. In the debug menu you could set RenderVolumeLODFactor to 4.00 This will help you see smaller objects.
