I admit that my inventory has been a mess. Right now the inventory count is 70,639. There are things from 2003 that I just cannot delete because it is meaningful. I won’t wear them or use them again, but they were from a time that we will never see again. Things that remind me of the crazy fun we had. And now that I blog fashion you can imagine the chaos. I have items that I haven’t even worn yet, such as this hair that I acquired on December 1st.
In 2015 I started dating each file with the year and then the month. That way I could find the most recent easily. Now that the year is over I have put each file into categories under a main 2015 file. Most of the clothes will never be worn again. If they go unused by mid 2016 they will get deleted.
My newest addition to my inventory comes from a mix of FLF and FaMESHed. The Jessica dress is new from Rebel Hope. The scarf is color change and fits a variety of mesh bodies. I chose this color because I had already picked up the Fri.day Emily boots that were on sale for FLF. The warmers are color change by hud. Fri.day is having a huge sale at the mainstore. Even the gift cards are on sale. I also picked up a new bag from C’est la vie. This one bag can pretty much match any outfit. There are so many choices for color changes by hud. The wood of the handle, the ribbon, and the bag itself can be changed to compliment your outfit. Glam Affair’s Caroline skin named New Day was available in 4 skin tones for FLF. How could I not buy a skin named Caroline? Glam Affair is one of my favorite skin designers.
All of these things are new additions to my inventory that I hope to wear again. One thing that I will start being more diligent about is deleting clothing items for bodies that I don’t own. I am sure there are better ways of organizing an inventory than what I am doing. What are some of the ways that you control your inventory from becoming a big mess?
You won’t believe it but I am wearing a skirt panel with these skirt/leggings. I was skeptical at first because I remember the horrors of big blocky chunk prims in the past. With ambient occlusion turned off you cannot even see the mesh skirt panel as an add on at all. All of these shots are raw and unedited besides cropping and pasting the two together. Mesh moves with you and blends smoothly with the body. I even posted a close up of the skirt to show you. The Nathalie leggings/skirt are worn on my Maitreya Lara body using the Omega System hud. These can be worn as just a skirt, leggings, or both. And they are available for Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique, and TMP. Pick them up at the Apply Me event. My comfy tank top is a new release from Maitreya at the main store. I chose to compliment this outfit with Ingenue Astrid heels in a matching color.
Lamb just sent out a notice that she will start doing monthly group gifts again. This month is the Dissolved Girl hair fat pack. The in world group has a small L$100 fee to join. Totally worth it. My skin is by Glam Affair from the last Fifty Linden Friday. The sitting poses are the latest pose pack from Kirin and can be found at Kustom 9. I used them in a relaxed casual setting. You can find Carolina Sauterau of Kirin looking super cute in her pictures.

I am trying to fall into fall by wearing warm colors and surrounding myself with changing leaves. Recently I picked up the new mesh Foxes Sweater Dress which is made for the Maitreya Lara body. I decided to pair it up with the Miya jeans from Alaskametro. The jeans are made for the classic avatar, TMP, Slink, and also comes with Omega appliers. I am an Omega applier system noob, but Alaska has shown me the ways. In the picture I am actually using the classic avatar because I didn’t know about the appliers then. I love my mesh body and I’m happy to learn that there are even more ways to dress myself up!
My gorgeous chunky necklace was made by Modern Couture Jewelry. This is the Soraya necklace and earrings in gold. It is available at The Dressing Room Fusion. This jewelry designer has become a favorite of mine. You can get the Freja sandals by Ingenue at The Arcade. What makes these so different than her other pairs of shoes is the hud. This one pair of shoes can fit the Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya body. Just by choosing which body you are wearing on a hud. No more having an overload of shoes that you don’t need in your inventory! Also coming from The Arcade is my Pink Fuel Morgana skin and sexy Lamb Date Night hairstyle. I love this look for fall!
Now I am going to try to explain the Omega Applier System in case you aren’t aware of what it is. The system allows you to wear most appliers with whichever mesh body you own. Take these jeans for example. I looked through the unpacked folder and saw appliers for TMP, Slink, and Omega. There are also classic avatar clothing layers. I don’t own the TMP or Slink body. I thought Omega was another mesh body that I didn’t have. But nooo, the Omega applier system is a hud that allows you to wear appliers on your mesh bodies. With this I could wear the jeans as an applier on my Maitreya Lara body. I could choose from Pants Undies, or Tattoo layer. I couldn’t have been more happy to learn this! You do have to buy the Omega Applier System kit for your type of mesh body at their store, but it is priced really reasonable.
Blithe is a new and well designed sim that is open to the public. This is a great sim for hanging out and taking pictures by yourself, with friends, or a loved one. You may have been to or heard of it’s neighboring sim that houses the The Pixel Bean Coffee House. Harlow Heslop has been hard at work making this a carefree and happy place for all to visit. I chose to show off my new look at Blithe.
No21 event just opened up on February 21st. I was happy to find more spring like outfits. Here I am all ready for a spring cupcake party at Blithe in this fun Atomic Rosey Posey dress. In each set the sweater top comes in 3 colors and the skirt in 2. The colors are changed by a hud. Lamb created my hairstyle named Birdy. I love how cute and carefree the cut and style is. The gorgeous Yoshiko heels are from Ingenue and can be found at the Creepy Kawaii Fair. These are made for Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza bodies/feet.
I love comfy girly clothes and this outfit is just that. A nice soft sweater paired with a cute skirt. The tee under the sweater is color change or no color. I have paired it with these adorable shoes from Ingenue. Another love of mine are old style keys, and these shoes have a tiny key hanging on the side. The silly but cute hat is from Half Deer at the Candy Fair. Speaking of events, Pink Fuel is having a sale that ends October 26!
